Accounting Team Assessment

Blackmor, CPA serves as a financial expert on call, performing an onsite assessment of your current accounting department’s strengths and weaknesses to provide an objective, outside look at your team.

“Accounting Isn’t My Strong Suit, Can You Help Me?”

Accounting may not be at the core mission of any hospice organization, but it is absolutely critical to the long-term success of any business. Whether for CFO succession or just to get a snapshot of your accounting department, we seek to answer the question, “Are the right people in the right seats?”

This question is why we call this service, “All Aboard!”

Train Tracks Through the Forest

What a Team Assessment Entails

Blackmor, CPA can assess the personality profiles and temperaments of your accounting staff to determine how they currently operate within your business. Through this process, sometimes called a SWOT analysis, we will identify your finance department’s strengths and weaknesses, point out any gaps that threaten your organization, and make recommendations for improvement. Sometimes just a small move can make a tremendous impact for the better.

If we find issues that are more process-driven, we can also perform a SYSTEMS ASSESSMENT of your accounting, EMR/patient-management system, payroll, donor software and other systems, and offer expert guidance on how you can streamline and update your processes.

We engage at all levels of your finance department to bring a fresh perspective to both individual and team dynamics. We identify individual and collective strengths and weaknesses, as well as who’s committed and who already has one foot out of the proverbial door.
